La Nuit parfum is a line of fragrances created in collaboration with editor and classical music critic Mitsuhiro Ebihara. It is based on the notion that classical music should be a normal part of everyday life, and not be set apart as something special. Music is appreciated from many angles, such as theory, performance, melody, or stories and scenery evoked. Our fragrances are assembled in the same manner as savouring music.
We began from three compositions: Ravel’s piano suite La Gaspard de la Nuit, Bach’s Chaconne, and Keiichiro Shibuya’s for maria.
In giving perfume the character of an accompaniment to the main character of a musical piece, we have developed fragrances possessing total attention to harmony as ensemble.
